If you pull an all-nighter and neglect to change your socks, by the end of the second day they start to smell really bad.

Look, if the duck's just gonna let the fox scare him for the rest of his life, the duck isn't gonna get anywhere. Thus, the correct answer is given by the equation: S=Mf/Md+Ff/Fd, where Mf is the mass of the fox, Md is the mass of the duck, Ff is the size of the fight in the fox and Fd is the size of the fight in the duck. Using this equation for the speed, the direct path to the fox should scare the fox enough that the duck would never have to worry about this situation ever again. Don't feel bad for not being able to get it, it was a difficult problem, taking me all of 3 minutes before (and during) my CS class.
